At Rainbow Cove, we believe that safety begins with knowledge—and confidence comes from practice. That’s why we proudly organised seven sessions of Infant and Child First Aid training, offered free of charge to both internal and external parents. More than 100 families joined us in this meaningful community outreach effort, reflecting the strong bonds we share beyond the classroom.
These sessions weren’t just informative—they were highly interactive. Parents participated in hands-on demonstrations, learning how to respond to common emergencies such as choking, burns, falls, and fever management. With guidance from certified trainers, they practised essential techniques like CPR, bandaging, and recovery positioning using realistic training aids. This practical experience gave parents the confidence to act swiftly and calmly in real-life situations.
We offer these sessions for free because we understand that accidents can happen at home, often when least expected. By equipping parents with first aid skills tailored to infants and young children, we empower families to protect and care for their little ones with assurance.
In our classrooms, Rainbow Cove teachers are also trained in first aid and emergency response. They conduct daily safety checks, manage minor injuries with care, and maintain calm, structured routines that prioritise every child’s wellbeing. The same principles we teach parents are embedded in our school culture—because safety is a shared responsibility.
We’re deeply grateful to all the families who participated and look forward to continuing our efforts to build a safer, stronger community together.
