Our Infant Care Programme, designed for children aged 2 to 18 months, provides a warm, respectful environment grounded in the Pikler approach and Erik Erikson’s principles. We emphasize trusting caregiver-infant relationships, where every interaction—whether during routines or play—is an opportunity to build emotional security, autonomy, and connection.
We integrate thematic learning, focusing on PIE Development—Physical, Intellectual, and Emotional growth. Our curriculum features age-appropriate activities that promote exploration, problem-solving, and engagement across key developmental areas. Through experiential learning, infants are encouraged to explore at their own pace, strengthening early brain development and laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and values.
Our learning spaces are thoughtfully designed, ensuring a safe, stimulating environment with materials that encourage interaction and movement. Every element—from routines to play—supports confidence-building and holistic development.

The child has plenty of space for activity, and receives good care at the infant care center. They seem happy learning every day. teacher Sinhui, the in charge of infant care is very responsible and professional. Whenever you see her, she provides detailed updates about your child’s activities at school, helping you understand what they’re learning and any important things to note. There are also outdoor activities, so they don’t have to stay indoors all the time in air-con rooms.

Enrolled my daughter in the infant care of Rainbow Cove Sembawang since Jan 2024 and I can safely say that there is no regrets at all.
1) The teachers are caring and passionate, providing timely updates of our girl’s progress.
2) The infant care program is not just taking care of the babies’ basic needs, but also offers a wholistic program to teach her skills at the appropriate time point, for example fine motor skills and gross motor skills when she reaches the age.
3)There are also semi-annual PTM sessions for the teachers to update the progress and provide feedback.
4) The student-teacher ratio is lower than stipulated by ECDA, (1 teacher to 3 infants in IFC, as compared to 1-5 ratio for other IFCs), showing their commitment to providing the best quality care for the babies.
A picture speaks a thousand words, the pictures attached show how happy she is at the centre, and how engaged she is with the programs that the centre offers.
Fastforward to now, she will be promoting to PG and I have no worries at all in continuing her growing up journey with Rainbow Cove Sembawang.

I am so grateful for the care and attention my daughter receives at this infant care centre. Every day, she happily goes to school and has developed a wonderful bond with her teachers. She is learning good manners, and I am amazed at how she now knows how to say “thank you” when someone gives her something.

My child was enrolled in the infant care here. The facility is clean, safe, and designed with infants in mind. We love the updates, including pictures and detailed reports on feedings, naps, and activities.
